BC-158

Purpose:

BC-158 high efficient and extra white fluorescent whitening agent for polyester is mainly used for whitening of blending fabrics such as polyester and polyester cotton, polyester silk, polyester yarn, polyester ramie, polyester wool, etc. It can also apply to whitening and brightening of chemical fiber, plastic and artificial leather. It applies to pad dyeing and HTHP dip dyeing process, especially low temperature adsorption and high temperature setting and whitening process.

Usage and use quantity: (for reference only)

1. Pad-dyeing hot melt method

Use quantity: 1.1-2.1g/L

Process flow: two dip dyeing and two pad dyeing (mangle expression 70%) →pre-drying (100℃)→curing and setting (175－190℃, 40-30s)

2. HTHP dip dyeing method:

Use quantity: 0.15～0.35% (Maximum use quantity 0.7% non-yellowin, relative weight of dyed cloth)

Bath ratio: 1∶10～20

Dyeing temperature: 120～130℃

Dyeing time: 30 - 60 minutes

PH value: 4.5 - 5.5 (adjusted with acetic acid)

3. Low temperature adsorption and high temperature setting process:

Use quantity: 0.35～0.70% (maximum dosage 0.8% non-yellowing, relative weight of dyed cloth)

Bath ratio: 1∶10～20

Dyeing temperature: 50～60℃

Dyeing time: 30 minutes

PH value: 4.5 - 5.5 (adjusted with acetic acid)

Process flow: add BC-158 whitening agent and additive, adjusted for PH with acetone) and fabric to dye bath at room temperature→increase temperature to 50℃, dyeing for 30min→washing→dehydration and pre-drying (100℃)→setting and baking (175-190℃, 40-30s).

Cautions:

1. BS-158 extended fluorescent brightener for polyester fiber is a kind of pale yellow paste liquid, shall be shook up before use and weigh precisely to guarantee uniform weight of the whitening products which have no whiteness difference.

2. If suspension liquid is found precipitated and separated, just shake it before use, which does not affect the use quality.

3. Pay attention to freeze protection in winter, and store in warehouse with temperature of above 5℃.

Appearance: yellowish pulpy liquid

Colored light: Blue-violet light

Granularity: 2μm or less ≥90%

PH value: 6 - 7

Proportion: 1.035±0.001

5kg plastic bucket, 20kg /carton (4 buckets).

The shelf life is 8-12 months at room temperature.
