Purpose：

Fluorescent Whitening Agent SWN can dissolve in ethanol and glycol, acidic aqueous solution, resin, varnish and some organic solvents, while the solubility in water is only 0.006%. Generally, the marketable products need to be salified with the sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid, after which, it is mixed with organic acid (such as tartaric acid, citric acid and oxalic acid), or added with solution made with dispersant and hydrotropy materials which increases the solubility, so as for application. In textile materials, it is with the hue of red light purple.

Fluorescent Whitening Agent SWN is mainly used in wool and silk textiles, which can effectively improve the whiteness of appearance. This product is inappropriate to bathe with sodium chlorite.

The use quantity for adding Fluorescent Whitening Agent SWN in every 100kg wool and silk textiles.

50g-500g (0.05-0.5%)
